Tonight kids from Hay Park School have been chosen to represent Hay Park School in the Ako HIko Launch. We have been given an opportunity to build up our confidence with a special person named Andrew Patterson, we asked him questions that we were not that sure about. However in the end we got all our questions answered, we have been looking forward to this day ever since we got our notices, from our wonderful teachers that motivate us to come to school everyday!

ReplyDeleteIt was so fun that night. Did You have fun?? To be honest it wasn't quite scary saying my speech in front of a lot adults. It was quite interesting. That reminds me. Rehda has videoed us saying our speeches. And maybe he will share it with you guys. (You Posted Up Live When Were There Right??)

I really like that we got to meet new people and with all the learning conversations we had with the business people would be my highlight of the night. What was yours? By the way, I really was not confident but I gained confidence just before that night.
