Ocean currents

We have been learning about ocean currents and using Thinglink to create content which other people can use to learn.
Three things  I have learnt about ocean currents:
  • Ocean currents can be caused by heat and and salt water.
  • If there were no ocean currents around the world, the ocean would be still.
  • Ocean currents go around the world to make it more warm and not so cold for us.

Harbor Seals

This term we have been learning about Marine Habitats.
I have been learning about the Harbor Seal.
Three cool facts I learnt:

  • Harbor Seals can weigh up to 300 pounds.
  • Harbor Seals are called pinnipeds because they have flippers instead of feet.
  • Harbor Seals are mostly found on the shore of California.
